I had a kenwood hu but it only had 2 pre-outs. Other than that I liked it. I like my alpine better though.

Kicker speakers? Sorry, I've never even heard them play.

Right on, ya actually im a pretty big alpine fan too. My buddy had an alpine hu and speakers that sounded great.

On a potential bad note, i went in today for a quote from a shop... the dude told me i need this big ass 3200 watt amp. I got two jl 10w7z. Im figuring i need the JL 1000/1V2 amp.. as what most reviews say. He wants to sell me a z edition amp for like $1200 bux. I look online, theres hardly any z edition amps out there. I asked him about the jl amp, he was like totally against it. Idk if i'll go there.... kinda sketchy. Freakin me out .. I dont wanna get jipped. Then i went to a place called planet motorsports. They wanted to sell me some door speakers that were over 1000 bux. I look on ebay for those ( brand was called hertz ), most expensive set i found was 250. I need someone that knows what theey are talking about. I think all these places just wanna sell some crap .

as long as the signal isn't clipping then a lower powered amp can run your subs just fine.

as for the kickers, as long as you like the way they sound and the price is right, then i say go for it. a speaker can only sound its best if its properly and solidly mounted.

Hey guy, one on a budget can't go wrong with the Pioneer DEH-3300UB. Easy on the eyes and wallet. Only down fall is the red illumination, personal preference, I like choice.
