Amplifier for a pair of ORION HCCA 15"

    I'm just going by the specs from the website, i have never heard one. So maybe an amp 3500 watts rms @ 1 ohm? I don't know what they can take. Watch out for peak and rms, peak like means nothing for specs on subs and amps, look at the rms output always. That is the true power.

    Hifonics seems to have good amps, are they really giving the rms they state, because i can go with a cyclops or a goliath, do they produce 4000rms and 5000rms or are they overrated, i havent research about the prices, but what do you think abouth theirs prices? thanks

    hifonics xx and xxv series are not overrated and the pricing should be bout 700+

    would you be able to get MMATS pro audio where you live?? They have an amp HD 4000.1 which would serve your purposes. It may be a little much for those subs but they build their stuff like tanks and are top quality. They alos have smaller calss D amps avaiable. Check them out if your able to get them where you live.

    mmats are very tough amps.

    Yes Pedro is right (like always) they build some bullitproof amps. A lot of people have never heard of them cause most of their stuff is for compitetion, but those of us who have seen these monsters pushing several pairs of woofers without going into thermal know how good they are. I think they hold the current DB record at 174. something. I think 18 juggernauts and 16 class d amps. Dont know what model amps though, have to look it up. Anybody know what brand holds the current db record??

    These mmats look very nice, they are also very small, and seems very efficient, but what about the price of them? seems to be abouth 1500$ dont know, i have a friend with mmats subs in his suv and its very loud, dont know what amps he has, but seems it can be found here.

    I used to have a kx800.2, and was a good amp, but a pair of 2500.1 would be lots of power but i think i will need also lots of power to feed the amps
