4 ohm and 6 ohm setup?

I would say keep that memphis 1000D and hook it up. If its not loud and deep enough for you than get the JL1000/1. IMO you just need a box built for those subs and tuned correctly and you'll have all the deep bass you want.

Its not just the amp but the box has A LOT to do with the sound that you want.
