3 Power Acoustik MOFO 12's

    well I finally got the box built, worked on it from about 7 pm til' 5 am sunday. took my time with it and man it suprised me. I'm hitting alot of higher bass notes but not as much lows. got some really good flex going on now tho.
    heres some pics. Thanks a lot Ranger! I really appreciate it:)

    yeah it is lol. it broke the motor off of the rear wiper in the hatch ha

    I've been busy lately, 9th graders need babysitters, not teachers.

    That box looks good. So how loud is it?
    If I remember right, Low should not be a problem, the f3 point was around 30 and it was flat at 35. Our gain was best between 40 to 80 Hz, so those frequencies will seem louder.

    Do you have a Bass Boost on your amp? If so does it boost frequecies around 40 to 45?

    Adjust low pass to around 100Hz (just a good starting point)

    If so, lets try to reajust your amp and see what happens. Turn bass on HU to 0 and loudness off. Turn gain on the amp all the way down. Turn the bass boost about 3/4 of the way up. Now adjust your gain.

    Does it sound boomy? if so, the turn gain all the way down, adjust bass boost to 1/2 and then try gain again.

    Only after it sounds right do we mess with the HU adjustments.
