The 13w7's are made to run with a 1000/1 EACH. They're a matched pair. I wouldn't see the point in getting 13w7's and only giving them 500/1 each. I'd go with 13w6 x 2 and 500/1 x 2 - those, plus 3 bulk kits of dynamat, a HUGE alternator, a deep cell battery up front and a smaller one in the trunk, and not to mention a custom thick box... You're not looking at the triple digits anymore. But hey, it’s your money to waste, I mean spend.

Yes...the 1000/1's would be a great amp...but I was just suggesting the 500/1's if money is getting tight...but hell do what you want...I'd get two 500/1's spend the rest on sound dampening...like for this setup you'll need to do the WHOLE CAR...full Dynamat then use that goop you can slather over it.

Box should be very thick...and well braced

Indeed...I gets on my nerves when people are too into their system and don't concentrate on the details that'll make their sh!t sound good...like sound dampening, bigger alternator, new battery, good install.

My friend works at an audio shop and whiggers and ganstas always come in and spend a sh!tload of money on amps and subs and all you hear when they pull out is their trunk rattling itself to death and lights dimming...But hell...its your money...

2 subs that you need to check out before you drop big $$ are the Boston Acoustics SPG 555 or the new Cerwin Vega Strokers. Both are awesome subs and will pound you to death if powered properly. I recently listened to both of these subs and id have to go with the Bostons, absolutely amazing. Tight, clean, well defined and can shake your fillings out of your teeth. Just something for you to think about.

damn where the hell are you getting the money for that.... anyway just go to your local Car audio shop they'll tell all the crap you need to set up the 2 13W7 subs. oh yeah, with that much bass in an impala you are gonna have trouble breathing.

I bet 10 bucks your local car audio shop will tell you that you need either another battery and/or mulitple capacitors

I have not heard th kicker but I can give you my Two cents on the JL's

    Here is my system
    (2) JL13W7's
    (2) 1000/1 Amps
    (1) 300/4
    (1) 300/1
    (1) Set Polk SR6500 Componets
    (1) st Polk Momo 6 x 9's
    (1) Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Head Unit
    (1) Audio Controol 300/1 EQ/Line Driver/ Crossover
    (2) Optima Yellow tops
    (1) Distrubusion block
    (1) 200 Amp Alt

The subs are in a sealed box in the trunk and they are awesome. I would have gone with 1 if I would have know how loud they are. I bought them in the JL boxes but they both wouldnt fit in my trunk. So I had a sealed box built. They do sound a little better in the JL boxes I though but didnt fit right. They are beind put back in them in a month a bough a Astro van to put them in. I don't know what kind of music you listen to. I listen to Country and old school rap. They hurt your chest though and are very clean and play real low. I payed 720.00 each for the 13's in the boxes each from a dealer and with the box you get a 2 year warranty. I payed 750.00 each for the 1000/1 amps each also/ I shopped around a lot for dealers who wanted to give me a deal and this was the best I found by far. Get the warranty though don't save a few bucks just in case. By the way you should get the alt but 200 Amps is fine have had no problems. I had the system for a month before my alt came in and had no problens before that but it is needed. Make sure it is installed with good wiring by someone who knows what they are doing. The amps have to have the gains set perfect or 2 won't sound right. Take care and feel free to ask any questions I might help out with.
