adding bassblockers (caps) just sucks more power away from the already low wattage amp inside the head unit. its a temporary fix at best. you guys need to amplify the front stage and use the internal hp filter in the amp if you want to get good sound.

 

I dont have an internal high pass so i'll make do with the cap.

Duct Tape sorry if I sound rude but I did post that my HU does not have a high pass so that is why I was asking for what size and type of cap.

i was just saying that if you want the best sound, then you should plan on adding an amp to the speakers. most amps will have a crossover built into it, so you wont need the caps.

 

Well I am gettin a new HU in about a month or two but I was just asking for the time being.
