what ground does your HU use? what brand and model is your head?
those polks will get loud enough and sound goo off deck power if you want to save some money. you cant wire them to 2ohms either...
I put a set of those Polks in a buddies camry. Off of HU power they get pretty dam loud and sound dam good doing it. The midbass could be better...

where is your ground? are your rca's and power running together? are they crossed at 90 degree angles?
it has to be a cable for your head unit. it should cost about $20 brand new
