These are good subs. dual 4 layer means the voice coil consists of four layers of windings and you have two 1 ohm coils for either a 1/2 or 2 ohm...
actually those 6x9s are coax's...they say "3-way" but thats not true. them telling you to get tweeters WITH the coax's makes me think they don't...
