thats not the correct way to set your gain, but it wont kill you to set it like that
different voice coil configuration...no real ups or downs of either, it really depends on what amp, how many speakers you want to use, etc.

most of the mainstream amps are CEA compliant, so they put out their RMS at 14.4v...but other brands like sundown, stetsom, elemental designs,...
kickers are loud but im not too fond of their sound...that AQ is a beast and easily takes more than the L7 imo.
im not sure what caused the fire, it happened while i was in class...and cc, yeah it was insured, but only one way so i get nothing back.
i actually got it when i was 16 and i just couldnt let go of it. i really loved the car, it gave me no problems and it ran really nice.
got my sub back, threw away the box cuz it smelled of burnt stuff. got my amps also, havent tested them out tho. im also getting my radio back...
