no problem, the ports should be on the same side as the subs, you will probably have to brace this box in the middle. MDF is like $60-$80.00 here...

do you have SLA adjustment on that alpine? Maybe you noticed it in the settings menu of your deck, if you have it you can turn it all the way up...
