Do the first setup but don't buy 3 pair of speakers, keep the front components and use only one pair in the back, use the money for a sub or a LRx...

The amp is 2ohm stereo and 4ohm bridge. If you have it at 2ohm bridge it will cut off.:eek:
The bandpass box with a good sub problaby a better choice for listening rock, if it has a arm rest do it like Viking said.. bring the port thru...
If you want better sound quality the HU got to go, replace the HU for something better and you will hear a big difference....
If you want a good sounding HU buy the eclipse!
The 400.1 and CVR 10s will rock pretty good!! If you can built the box with the subs firing down. The subs need to be about 3" from the floor.
We sale Clarion and not to crazy about it, I will take Eclipse any day, they sound real good. (CD 3000 CD 4000 or CD5000)
:) The amp comes with a fuse holder and fuse, I don't remenber if is for 2gauge o 1/0 wire.
Don't forget the fuse holder and the fuse!! You will need a ANL fuse and fuse holder.

Is that guy a installer or a salesman!!:lol: You can run that amp 2ohm stereo (4 4ohm speakers) on the front channels and the sub on the rear...
The 1000 probably suck about 100 to 150 amp of current, that's if you have 14 volts at the amp! you need a good batt and 2 or 1/o gauge wire....
