Ya, don't mess with karaoke through surround sound or home systems, bad things happen lol. Get something like this, its 200 watts and that's tons when it comes to a live signal, plus you have all kinds of extras, can plug in extra mics, 6 or 8 tracks i think. There's lot's too choose from there anyways. You can plug in your karaoke machine too but just use it for the music output and sing through the mixer/amp. We already have a mixer but you all are right about the speakers, I'm with you on that. i went and looked at some BMB speakers, they sounded really good so I guess i'm going to buy it for my father today. It looks like the problem is solved. I also found out that the receiver my dad has now can take a Ipod dock so he doesn't even have to change the receiver. Thanks for all your help..
Nice!! Here's one 450 watts lol oop that's max. Still cool. Those are the exact ones I looked at. I also looked at this brand called B Pro. They sound almost just as good as the BMB's. Very good lows and clean highs. I'm going to call the owner of the place (my dad has bought a lot of stuff from this guy) and try get the price lower. He wants about $700 for the BMB's and $500 for the B Pro's. ouch!!!
yeah electro. My father got 2 of those Ipod docks, He bought another Onkyo amp and bought some Bpro speakers for the Karaoke.
lol. I'm just waiting for the ipod docks and the amp to come back then it will be all set up. I'll take some pics once it's done and some pics of his HT set up.
