MCM Goldline 3-way crossover, new, pair - eBay (item 260230681998 end time Apr-20-08 11:25:42 PDT) i bid a dollar. what do you guys think. i want to redo my front stage with what i have already. want to run my nine.5 in 3 ch mode for 350 x2.
im also hitting up another show on sunday. i think i just called out the guy that hit a 137.1. he said he was doing a 144 somthing. i may have put my foot in my mouth. i did post his 137.1 run. lets see what happens.
I'm not sure...if you can find drivers that fit into the ranges and what not but it would be kinda hard to get them all to match. What speakers are you going to use with this???
was hoping to use what i already have. polk mid and tweet and the infinity 4 in. i dont know the crossovers cut off points any ways....darn oh well.no biggie. i would really just need a cap or crossover for the infinities. what size cap would you recomend for lets say 350 hz hipass? i can run the doors and the dash(infinity plates) together but my infinities cant handle the freq that my doors can. so i have them wired with the rear fills at a really high freq and my 6x9s dont sound good at what its set at. so its throwing my sound way off.
what if i used the 50uf cap from my busted passive xovers from parts express. those were 600hz hi pass but i would like to go lower.
I'd rather go with a 2nd order filter for your infinities...12db/octave slope would be nicer to the speakers. If the speakers are 4 ohm than for around 300Hz crossover point this inductor Parts Express:Jantzen 3.0mH 15 AWG Air Core Inductor and this cap would work Parts Express:100uF 100V Non-Polarized Capacitor If they are 2 ohm than this inductor Parts Express:Jantzen 1.5mH 15 AWG Air Core Inductor and this cap Parts Express:200uF 100V Non-Polarized Capacitor
maybe i'll just get these.Parts Express:300 Hz High Pass 4 Ohm Crossover their way cheaper, and the 600 hz versions worked pretty good. i just thought i might be able to get away with not spending too much money. hell i may just try to fix the one busted passive xover. it was only the board that cracked.
