you wanna know a bad ground??

    Yeah I was installing an Alpine 4 channel in my friends car tonight...decided to redo the ground for his battery in his trunk. The install was done by a "professional shop".

    The ground was 0 gauge but the ring terminal was just screwed into the sheet metal with three small self drilling screws...the installer didn't even scrape away any paint...so I removed the ground and took out my trusty wire wheel and got the metal nice and shiney...then put the ground back on. Voltage drop is much less now

    Atleast it wasnt grounded to the trunk lid. :lol:

    Wow was that person serious??? That is the most ghetto ground i have ever seen hahaha

    I don't even know knwo that jack is connected electrically to the chassis
