hey guys i just wrecked my best friends eclipse... yah i feel like sh** i rear-ended some guy going about 40 i need a new hood front bumper and 2 new fenders what would the best way to go about getting this fixed and not costing me a huge amount? insurance will go up a huge amount if i go threw them cause i got a citation and they want to total the car cause the they said the estimate was around 6,000 so if anyone knows of and good sight 2 get after market supplies for a 97 eclipse that would be great.... it has 2 look decent because the car looked great before i wrecked it.... it was one of the sickest cars around and i want it to look just as good if not better if i can thanks
If you rear ended anything in a eclipse at around 40mph you damaged alot more then just the hood, front bumper and both fenders.
This is true ther may be a lot more hidden damage than just the exterior sheet metal. The frame and front radiator support may be bent, hence why the insurance company is so quick to write it off. If you do hang new sheetmetal on it, it may not line up right, ie.. hood and door gaps. Here is a link to a company that I have seen several people use before. Their prices are relatively cheap. Good luck. http://www.certifit.com/
