"somebody help ya boy out on some good speakers for very loud vocals" I have a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria I would like to get some loud speakers Could you gentlemen please me of assistance?
You want loud?? Wire the speakers up to your catalytic converter....in series parallal of course...then cut the muffler off and reroute the pipe up through the trunk and into the cabin....make sure the LOUD function is set to the ON position...bass boost minimal...also it won't sound as clear with regular 87 octane gas...better put some diesel fuel....it'll smooth out the mids so the vocals will be crisp and very transient...make sure your driving in reverse so the pipe isn't out of phase
my 2 cents... If it matters... I have a set of Boston Acoustics RM9 That I love. It's a 6x9 and yes I know its not the best perfomance speaker being an oval, but you can get a hell of a deal on ebay if you look for them. I dont' think you will be dissapointed. just make sure u feed them some good power.
here's how you tell what kinda car you got...go into your glovebox, pull out the owners manual and read the cover or look at the back of the car and read the emblems!!!
wow do i feel stupid i was thinking police cars and confused the chevy caprice (aka the capala) and the ford crown vic i shall fix and all will be forgotten!
