Hello, I'm a dutch guy trying to get some info on what might be a good price/quality speaker config for my car. I ride a duck. that's what we call citroen 2cv's here in holland (europe). And duck's have door's simply to thin to build in coax speakers, so my only option, in my opinion, is a component system, a tweeter might fit fine in front. As far as I could find, the systems underneath are good value for money and between them I'll choose, but I have simply no experience with this stuff so some additional info is very welcome. Is an additional amplifyer necessary or only luxuery in case you want to blow the doors out of your car, that's not what I prefer, but a duck is very niosy so some loudness is definitely required. I know there are far better systems then this but that's not what I'm interested in. This is nice value for money and I just want to know if one clearly exceeds and if an amplifyer is necessary. Your comments please.
Well deejam, As always, i reccommend that you listen to the speakers if at all possible to determine which you personally like the best. Any of those speakers would do fine..... As for an amp, yes i do reccomend one. Simply put, more power not ONLY equates to louder volumes, but greater clarity and more dynamic range from your sytem, Yes, an amp would make for a higher quality of sound. As for an amp, anything in the 100-200 watt range would do fine.
