no harm mano. I dont own a gun myself. and I actually know VERY little about them.

though my brother in law is a gunsmith at two local shops his dad owns which means DEALS for me. They let me use their ranges and rental guns for free, plus free ammo. Its really to bad I cant shoot with crap...

the scariest thing I've ever seen was my sister firing off a full auto... gave me nightmares.
