I have an Alpine head unit and a set of Pioneer 6x9 speakers in my 1966 Nova Stationwagon and i need some more power for this setup and am not up to date on stereos systems.I don't need it to rattle the windows, but would like to be able to crank it up a little with out the distortion.Any help would be appreciated.Mark

If your planning on amping the 6 x 9's then you don't really need a lot of power. The Pioneer 6 x 9 are pretty effecient so 50 watts per channel RMS should get the job done.

Amps by Kenwood and Alpine would be good choices for full range clean sound. As Always, I do recommend that the speakers are mounted solidly. Dynomat on and around the speaker is always helpful. Anything that reinforces the speaker mount will greatly improve speaker performance.

Yung J...making your own thread would be nice instead of threadjacking...but I'm a nice guy so I'll answer your question with some of my own questions

First...What are the specs of this sub??? What enclosure are you putting this woofer in?? How much money are you looking to spend on an amplifier??
