His video doesn't work right. It was professionally installed This installer was drunk, high and who Knows what. Thats the worst I've seen in a while Found the video amps under the bacK seat, What the Hell am I supposed to do with this mess. I am an installer not a Miracle Worker. Oh my God
Years ago, I pulled in a customers car, the radio was sitting in the dash, unmounted. He said he wanted it rewired...... As i pulled the radio out of the dash, an electrical fire started in the car. an 8 AWG wire from the battery that was unfused went to the radio and amp crammed in the same hole..... The wire smoked, burned up a fit of carpet, and stunk up his car....I popped the hood and found the cable at the battery and cut it before the interior caught fire....... After cutting the wire, and making sure the car wasnt gunna sponrtaneously combust from anything I did, i backed it out of the install bay and pulled it out front, handed the keys to the owner of the shop and said "nope, Ya wanna fix this, its all yours" Sometimes it just aint worth it......... I went home early that day I remember. Wasnt in the mood for bullshyte hack jobs that needed repaired... I believe the owner told the customer that he was lucky we saved his car from a fire, and told him it would be an hourly rate at 45 bucks an hour, with a 3 hour minimum to repair his hack job, never saw him again....
Didn't even look professionally done, he didn't notice all the wires just thrown in there, some of the yellow interior is black
Well its been in the shop since Friday. I'm still debating. We have a lot of other jobs so we can take our time on this one.
