So I bought an old corvette and decided to leave the Dash original and decided to build a stand alone unit instead. I bought a 4 channel amp, Sony CD player, two 6X9's, and two 6 1/2's.

The 6X9's, amp, and CD player are all in a unit stored in the rear of the vette.

The 6 1/2's were installed in the kicker panels.

    I CAN'T GET THE 6 1/2's TO WORK!!! :(

The amp, CD player, and 6X9's were installed by my uncle, I decided to spare him the time and do the fronts myself.

I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I have the 12 gauge wire connecting the amp correctly (+ to +, - to -). The audio wire from the amp (L and R) connecting to the CD player (L and R).

Am I missing something here? Can anyone help me?

If you need any more information, I will provide.

    Thanks.
