i have these two 10'' speakers in two seperate box's and there pretty old but i want to use them in my car and was looking for any info i could get on them, like what are some options for any amps that i could buy. They work, i know becuase i hooked them up to a stero i have without an amp and there not blown or anything. I don't know enuogh about car sound systems myself and im just lookin for info on what i need to buy to make these speakers have the best volume and sound quality i can get out of them. Any help would be appreciated..and as far as my budget anywhere up to $400 considering i dont need to buy new subs.

Not trying to dog you at all but you should not waste your time or $$$ on those. What kind of car do you have and do you have a stereo yet?

This could be fun, without specs I can only come up with a generic box.

This box is conservative, as is the tuning. Try this, build a box for those woofers with the following dimensions

    Width 26-1/2 inches
    Height 11-1/2 inches
    Depth 14 inches

Between the two woofers would be a single Round 4-inch port. This port would need to be 8-inches long.

Now this woofer will not handle alot of abuse, but I'll bet it will be OK for a little while. This box will work for many different 10-inch woofers and this way you can use your budget money for other things and replace the woofers (if necessary) later on

    My 10 cents worth
