Just bought this 15 for $40. Does anybody know the model # and the specs on this thing. I hooked it up to see if it worked and it sounds like ****. He said its been sitting in his closet for a couple years. It looks ok on the outside. I don't have it in a box yet, just wanted to see if it did anything. Did I get robbed??? Any info would be greatly appreciated....thanks.

Im assuming about 8 years old, maybe more. ive had 3 C2's and 2 DCX124's. They all had red lighting bolts on them. Is there anything on the label on the back side? Did you have it mounted in a box when you listened to it? All subs will sound like ^%%$ if not mounted in a box.

I have a box for a 12 that I'm gona make bigger tomorrow. I'm gona run an MTX Thunder 3401 to it. Any idea on what the rms is on this thing. Nothing really on the back. Ran the UPC code and nothing came up.

a semi educated guess would be around 700 rms

That MTX Thunder probably won't be enough to poer it then?? I think its rated at 400.

no way that will take 700rms. Put the 400 on it. Make sure it is clean power! And watch how warm it gets. If it gets hot, turn the gain down a wee bit.

you should have had him show you it worked before you bought it.
