are you planning to run an amp for your mids and highs too?

these days 400 will get you at least 2 nice amps.

    phoenix gold
    crunch
    soundstream
    infinity
    xtant

a mono amp(1ch) will work for the subs, and a 2channel or 4 channel will work for the mids.

Yeah Rockford amps are REALLY underrated. That 1000bd may be too much. Call Rockford and ask them what amp to use for your 2 P3s

Yes, one for the subs and one for components. A single multi-channel amp probably wouldn't be able to run everything correctly.

not true.....i used to run my whole truck off of my old M44 4ch and it got plenty loud and clear.

Just wondering but how? If a sub needs 1000 watts rms and the components need 300 how can an amp pull that off, just wondering.

because they dont NEED 1000 watts. thats the recommended power. if the power is clean you dont need a lot of it.

my amp was giving my 10in L5 200~230 watts and my mids and highs up front around 80 x2.
