What amp would be best too push 3 Alpine type x 12's?

Im thinking about running 2000 watts to each one. Let me know what you think.

Im Thinking about hooking up 2 Power Acoustik BAMF 4000/1 amps and running two of the subs on one at 2000 watts each and have the third running to the other amp. What do you guys think?

aren't the type X subs 1000watts RMS a piece? are you planning to get DVC 4ohm or 2ohm subs?

If your planning to get three of the type x then you have to find an amp that does 3k RMS. What's your budget? For that kind of wattage you must have some really good speakers up front and prolly an extra battery, at least 0ga wires and upgrade your alternator.

Type X subs only come in dual 4 ohm so nominal 2.67 ohm load. Also 2000 watts is way more than they can handle.

A pair of strapped Sundown SAZ-1500D's will do nicely. Or a pair of Nine.1's

Mind you should know that if you really want to power each with a REAL 1000 watts it is going to cost you a good penny. I would not cheap out on the amp and get a PA.
