waveguide horns

    i'm thinking of getting some horns for my truck.does anyone here know of a site with a good deal on horns?

    $150-250ish.

    Like what kind of horn??? horn tweeter or a horn box for your sub??

    Hey pedro? have you SEEn a set of horns????


    They are really big!



    AND, they take some really detailed tuning to get to sound right.......

    They are no for everyone!!!!!! If done right, they can perform very well.....but it IS ALOT OF WORK to make then sound right!


    Just forewarning you before you shyte out a bunch of cash!

    ok thanks.i know they make mini's.thats what i'm looking for. i've heard they sound awsome with very little power.

    Here is the premise behind "waveguides"


    they are desigend for maximim eficiency. That does not mean the they work best in the car (truck)....


    the angle of the horns output creates an exponetial output that is ideal for a maximim output at a specific frequency range and angle of radiation.

    did that make sense? (screw you jack d)



    The concept is good, the implimentation is dificult in the car audio enviorment.. Done a few back in the day.........limited success........stick with the basics, much easier and much more musical most of the time.......thats just my 2cents
