can someone give me some info on powering speakers, i guess what im tryin to get at is iv heard 500rms subs getting 500watts to them and sound better and louder than subs getting 1200rms to them. i know the box has alot to do with it but what else.
Box is everything and with that said, we wanna drive the sub at near its RMS Rating. Youe example, a 500 watt sub really needs to be driven with more than 200 watts RMS. For best performance, we wanna drive the sub at or near its power rating.
