Is that the amp from walmart??

If it is the amp from walmart than your problem is that the amp sucks balls and is as good as a paperweight

Get the best amp you can afford...the amp is the basis of your system basically...its what powers your speakers.

    What is your budget???

What are you looking for in your sound system???

What do you wanna upgrade in your system???

What do you have so far???

How much can you spend total???

Disconnect the speakers from it and see if it turns on as it shouild, if not, toasty critter most likely.

are the subs from walmart too? Cause the motors might be trying to chew on the voice coils.

that would definitely throw an amp into protection mode.
