OK I JUST WON ANOTHER AMP ON EBAY A.............ANZ KNOWS.

    A PG M50.

I WILL WIRE IT TO THE FRONT DOORS AND DASH.

I WOULD LIKE IT TO RUN AT 2 OHMS.120X2.

I HAVE 3 SPEAKERS BUT 2 ARE IN A PLATE SET UP AND WIRED TOGETHER.

I WANT THE DOORS FOR MIDBASS AN THE REST TO GO TO THE PLATES.

CAN I JUST GET A NICE 3 WAY XOVER AND WIRE THE MIDRANGE OUT TO THE PLATES?WILL THAT AFFECT THE TWEETER IN ANY WAY.SINCE IT WONT BE HOOKED TO THE HIGH OUT SECTION. JUST THE MID OUT.

DOES ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE?

Unless the speakers are 2 ohm, you aint gunna get a 2 ohm load on the amp. Most likely, just 4 ohm across the frequency spectrum (if all speakers are 4 ohm).....parts express does have the right stuff you need

You want the doors to run form around 100Hz upto around 250-500Hz, then have the plate speakers take over from there.

What are the impecances of your front speakers?

just realized i now have 8 channels to 7 speakers.so i will look at the single speaker x overs.

i'll do the M44 in 2 ch bridged at 2ohms.=160x2.and the new M50 to the 6x9s for rear fill.50x2.the other M50 is at 2 ohms mono 245x1.

will let you know what i choose.
