Hey guys, I recently re-installed my sub and amp into my truck. I have a stock head unit so I use a LOC that I bought from crutchfield a couple years back. Anyways, I got all the wiring done, hooked everything up to the amp (Pioneer 2 Channel) and turned on the key. Everything was working great except I just couldnt get anything tuned right. First thought was that I might have accidentally switched cables when I plugged in my RCA's so I switched them over and still didnt sound right. As I was switching them back I noticed that my sub sounded cleaner and a lot louder with only one of the RCAs plugged in. I tried the red in both the red and white and the white in both the white and red individually and it sounded amazing but as soon as I would plug in the second wire it would sound like crap. Do you guys have any idea what would be causing this? Thanks p.s. sub wiring is bridged
If I'm understanding what you've explained, then the fix is easy. Make sure your LOC is hooked up correctly. Everytime I've had a problem like that I would have one set of the LOC wire hooked up right and the other set wrong. Make sure that plus goes to plus and negative goes to negative on the LOC inputs.
