Need you help.... I need a simple vented design for 1 kicker comp 10".

Max measurements are width 33 depth 16 height 14. It doesn't have to be that bod though. again those are the max measurements.

Hope you can help me out....

    Thanks.

i was looking at the kicker site and they said 1.75 cubes it the max needed.

I really have no idea, i'm a retard when it comes to box designing. lol

    W x H x D = ? then divde by 1728 thats what 1cuft is and you get your volume. also subtract wood thickness. 3/4= .75. 7/8's = .875 thickness.basicly every 1/8th = 12.5.

    so my probox is 29.5 x 16.5 x 11 od i think its 3/4's thick.
    inside is 28.75 x 15.75 x 10.25 =4641cu in divide by 1728= 2.685 cu ft

Thanks, i do actually know how to compute for sealed. It's really not that hard. I probably want to go with either a 2 cu ft sealed box but I'd rather go with ported which i cannot design myself.

go with the specs of my probox.

    29.5 x 11 x 16.5 OD

3/4 in hdf. port is 4 in wide x 18in deep. 3in tall.

also be sure to measure down the center of the port for the length.

crap i cant figure out the port displacement.

i keep coming up with .06 cu ft. that cant be right

.75 in thick x 8 wide x 18 long. i guess im just too tired. lol

then that makes the box 2.64 cu ft - .06(port) then 2.57. would the sub take up the .57 to make my box an even 2.0 cu ft(.assuming a wood thickness of .75 inches. so its 28.25 x 15.75 x 10.25.)

i must have screwed the #'s on the other post so i deleted them.

i was never good at math.
