1. I have a us amps 1000x and kenwood x890 deck. I was wondering if I can use the sub-out to run the amp in mono. I heard you had to use balanced inputs to do this but not sure. 2. How do I wire the a power hx2 dual 2ohm sub to the amp to run 4ohm mono? I seen 2 different ways to do it. One is one rockford site and the us amps site. I think the right way is 1 pos from sub to pos on amp. Then 1 neg on sub to neg on amp. Then pos to neg on sub. Does this sound right? The us amps diagrahm shows only one ground and one neg connection of subs to the amp for mono mode. Can you look at us site figure it out? http://www.usamps.com/technical/pdf/owners_manual_2001.pdf 3. What does this mean? WARNING U.S. Amps require a . DO NOT use ground-loop isolation devices on the input of yourU.S. Amp! 4. I tested the amp to see if it worked and it did, then when uninstalling it the positive sparked on the amp case, the ground was still hooked up. Do you think the amp will still work? 5. In the us amps install diagrahm it shows the negative going to a frame ground and a battery ground. Is this the right way? IS it needed. If so can I run the pos and neg on the same side of the car? And the rca's down the center or passenger side. Thank you all for your help I know time is valuable!
