I have 1 12" Memphis Mojo 1000 watt rms powered by a Kicker Kx1200.1 mono amplifier putting out between 1250-1350 watts rms. I love how loud this thing is for 1 12" it literally wreaks havoc on the inside of my car, which I love. But it sounds pretty awful with lots of music (which I somewhat expected since it's mostly an SPL sub.) I was looking into getting a setup that is about as loud or hopefully louder, but that sounds much better with music too. This will be for my daily system. These are a few of the options I was looking into and an estimated price I found off Ebay (minus the Fi Q that's from the site). I have not had any experience with any of these subs so I dunno which would be best for me. Any input would be great thank you

    2 12" Alpine Type R= $260

    2 12" Kicker L5's= $290

    1 12" or 15" Fi Q= $245 or $265

I think the Type Rs would be the best because they are supposed to have very good SQ and get low and loud.

The Kicker will get mixed views. Some say not to expect major bass, but from my experience they hit good and sound good too.

The Fi would probably be the best for SQ as a single sub, but it will have less cone area than 2 12s and won't be AS loud, but wil probably still shake stuff good.

    i would go fi q > type r > kicker l5s

if you get one fi q, and you like the sound, you can always grab a bigger amp and another fi q

Lol it's in a ported box right now not sure the cubic ft but it's pretty big for 1 12" box I'm guessing 2.5 cu ft. since thats it's max ported and this thing hit's the lows like crazy. I have it in the very very back of my 1999 Chrysler Seabring Lxi 2 dr (which is a pretty long car) facing towards the cabin and on low bass I can feel the air it pushes perfectly fine in the drivers seat lol
