I'm thinking of picking up two 10s for a sealed enclosure to use when I take my main subs out on trips. I'm debating on two of the old school 10w6 subs, or two 10w3v2 subs. They will be powered with a JL Audio 500/1. Price isn't that much of an issue since I'd just wait for the right deal to pop up on craigslist lol. Which pair will be my best option? Any other suggestions on a pair of 10in subs that will work great off the power I have? Oo yea I suppose I should add in my music preference and goals with the system. I listen to a variety of music... from dance/techno to hiphop to rock to jazzy beats to oldschool funk to stuff like Dave Matthews Band. Soo I suppose my goal will be SQ, with the added output from two subs .
I would just buy which ever one that you get the best deal on, they are only temp anyway for use on trips.
Lol. Thing is the trips I will have to take in the near future will be from school home... about 9.5hrs! Sooo want it to sound good for the long ride
I think the w3 are the old school ones but I could be wrong. As for which ones YOU should spend your $$$ on, well thats for you to decide. There is no way any of of will know which will sound better to you.
