tweeter noise?

    can a tweeter crossover molunted on a metal door cause alternator whine noise? we are get it thru front door speakers, the unit goes thru a audio control 6xs when u by pass it no noise the ground and power is at conjuction block with the other grounds and power.

    do u have the crossover insulated from the metal?

    no, it is wired tied to the door.

    try to put something in between the crossover and the door. a piece of wood or plastic should do the job.

    ok, will do that, so you do think i am picking up noise front there?
    cause all the amps are grounded at same location to a dist.

    highly doubt you are picking up noise from there...try this....disconnect the speaker leads going to the crossovers from the amp.
