Check ALL the fuses in your fuse box.

If all are good, pull the radio. using a meter or test light, verify that you are getting power on the red and yellow wires. Also be sure your radio is properly grounded. (check these voltages at the plug that goes to the radio!!!!! )

If power and ground connections are good and have active electrons flowing through them, then ou may have a toasty critter in your hands.

Does that unit have a motorized flip out face plate? 9 times out of 10 the culprit is a bad ribbon cable.

i had a ribbon issue with a Sony motorized deck. a guy charged my like $80 to fix it. small price to pay for a $330 unit. i've noticed lately that Pioneer HU's are having issues. i just bought a 3900 a month ago, had to change it out in 2 weeks, the sub output was sending feedback through the subs, sounded like they groundin out or som'n. swapped for a 4900ib, no problems thus far. so you might just wanna swap it out if you have that option.
