How much is that box gonna cost you?? Looks like its made of plastic.

I'd rather have Tech12 here build a custom box for it...lol

DaveDSMer, thanks for the help, but I think max depth is 5 1/4" and max magnet diameter of the same.

measure it to be sure. from base to the cutout. then check your magnet clearance. Because there are not a whole lot of great subs out there with under 5.25 depth but ill keep looking for ya.

Ok i came up with another sub that fits your mounting depth issues.

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6926.html

this is a new line by Infinity.. I personally have not heard it but if the name holds true it will be a nice SQ sub.

I found a new kicker line of subs that are low profile but they want a bigger box and I also like the Phoenix Gold RSD subs but they want a smaller box. So neither of those would perform the best in your enclosure. The Infinity will though.

I would not recommend the ED SQ10 Sub that azn suggested for your enclosure as well. It wants a small box similar to the RSD sub I was looking out.

The JL sub you posted in your first post also wants a very small box.

Now the IDQ.. you might be able to get away with. The box size is close. You may be in trouble though with the depth as its listed depth is exactly 5.25" so it might be a close call on fitment.

From my research and the info you have given my the Infinty Kappa sub I linked above is going to be your best option. It has the exact same box requirement as that of the stock subs that go into it (MTX 4500's) and is only 4.75" of depth so that give you a 1/2 inch of clearance. Perfect fit if you ask me. Plus i know would perform much better than 4500's.

Sub is rated at 350 rms with 1400 watts max .. so blowing it is going to be really hard unless you are clipping your amp. I really think 2 of those would make you very happy.

Dave....that SQ 10's can work in that enclosure no problem...problem is that you don't think OUTSIDE of the box lol

All you have to do is find out the internal volume of each enclosure...then add in blocks of wood or closed cell foam to displace internal volume until net volume is about .5 cu ft
