Last week at my shop on of our regular customers came in with his Caddy he's been working on. He already had 4 15" Rockford Fosgate P3's in the trunk (and backseat) and he just came in to get speakers put on the exterior of his car. We hooked up 2 Memphis marine audio speakers inside his grill, facing outwards in front of the car. It should hold up fine since the marine speakers are made to be water resistant. You can hear his car, lyrics and all, from a quarter mile away. Nicely done car audio!
going to audio shows here at least once a month i see this all the time. ive never been a fan of screamers. thats what i call them. i have seen some nice installs done and that one looks clean and all. i just havent got into it. at a show once to rival shops got into a fist fight over who's truck/van was louder. im not knocking it at all. do you have anymore install pics from your shop?
They're on my external hard drive at my house, I can post some later. The owner who opened the store 13 years ago has a BMW 7 Series. Boston SPG running off a RF T1000-4. Interior all redone with what's called ultra leather, SO soft. His headliner has the little "starry night" lights in it. Custom powder coated rims. The kicker of it is he has a running water fall that runs when the car is in park using a filter similar to one you'd put on a fish tank. There's a piece of fiberglass behind it and when the bass hits it makes designs in the falling water. I'll definitely post pics of it, its a must see.
haha, cheesy, never saw that before. Wouldn''t the radiator melt the speakers, the rubber and plastic.
