Well, I told yall I unhooked my amp and subs and have had both setting in my garage for a week or so, I had someone interested in buying my amp so I put it all back in my car unhooked. Well earlier tonight a buddy of mine has a 15" Kicker being pushed by a 400w Crossfire and he wanted to see if it would push my Audiobahns any good so we hooked them up and turns out my left sub is now blown () It has been setting for like a week or 2 and we hooked it up and it was rattling on the inside as the other one bumped and kep bumping....then a fuse blew so his amp went out (Trying to push a blown speaker) and we move all the stuff to my car and my amp obviously will NOT run a blown speaker and kept going into protection mode until I unhooked the blown one and it ran fine (I didn't push it hard because my subs weren't screwed in) So, now the blown one is sitting beside me looking stupid That blows Any suggestions, help, anything?
if the amp doesnt shut down then maybe your sub was the prob the whole time.then maybe just get a new box for it,if you like the one 12.or a whole new set up.if you can.
I'd say ditch the Audiobahn setup completely and get a new sub system...Sorry I just hate Audiobahn with passion...but the good news is that you can just build a new box for that one Audiobahn and sell that then save up for a new sub system.
common azn audiobahn isnt that bad. id much rather run them than sonys or dual or bazooka etc etc etc...
I only have one running right now, the other is in the box rattleing around. I have found another one for $50 bucks and am looking for a ported box, and my amp still goes at 3/4. I haven't had anytime to mess with anything onmy car.
