After putting my subs in my new car acceleration has become a bit more sluggish than I like. I am thinking of moving down two a single Armageddon in a sealed enclosure. I know I WILL be loosing alot of output, but I fear for my hearing.

I looked up what Kove reccomended for my sub. They reccomended 1.75 cubic feet, 16 F3 hz. The internal dimmensions are:

    W X H X D
    20 17 9

    What would you guys recommend?

I am looking for SQ mostly. I just wondered if this was the best box for SQ. I kinda doubt they are SQ drivers though. Also is there anything lighter than MDF that I could use?

I have run into a problem, how would I run my JBL 1200.1 @ 4 ohms with a dual 4 ohm voice coil sub? Is there some kind of series/parrallel combination that will allow me to do this? Could I just keep the gains all the way down? Or will I have to get a smaller amp?

Made up a small table because my sub isnt in Winisd.

Model FS (Hz) QTS QES VAS (lits.) SPL db (2.83 v.) XMX (mm) Z nom (ohms)
    M 15D 28 .50 .56 108.78 89 15.00 2x4.00

    RMS (watts) Mounting Depth (in.)
    500 7.00

    Thanks in advance!
