    Hi.

I am looking for some free and easy ways to block outside noises in my vehicle. I realise I wont be able to get rid of all outdoor noise, but getting rid of any is good. My car is very loud, toyota 1986 seca.

Obviously one thing to do is wind up windows.
I already bought new mats and rubbers, and have glued the carpet to the floor.

Just wondering if their is anything else that can be done?

sound dampening is what you should be doing... do it to your doors and floor and that should eliminate a lot of outside and road noise...

    Dynamats!

I was at Car-Toys just the other day and these "Dynamat" kits they had were incredible, make's your stereo sound epic. You can buy them in square foot packages according to what you want to muffle(doors, floor, roof) I saw a lot of people putting on their doors, and that seems to work best.

that is a good product but can be pretty pricey. how much were they selling the kits for?
