the right way to brake in a sub

    what is the right way to brake in a 08 kicker l7 15" sub

    for me, break in isn't needed. just don't go full tilt the first day but other people may tell you that you can push it right away. for me, it's just better to be safe than sorry.

    i set it tell it started to sound alittle fd up then backed it down alittle and i have been beating the **** out of it my old ones i just took it easy one for about a week then turned up the amp some more but i think someone sead set it at one setting and it will get louder as it brakes in and when it stops getting louder its good but like you said i want to be safe

    the word is "break" in not "brake" in.

    it is a myth. A sub will break in as it plays
