the big 3

    how do you do the big 3 the safe way? can i do it my self or should i call local audio shops for them to do it?

    very easy and doesnt cost a whole lot either.

    its a fairly simple upgrade, your basic tools will be a wrench, utility knife, and something to attach your terminals depending on which ones you get. I've done it to 4 cars and each one vastly improved the electrical system.

    can i leave the old wire on there and just run a new one to the alternator the stock one has to many wire running across the motor i would have to tear open just to get the one i need out

    Hey, yes run the new wire to the alternator alongside the old one, make sure it won't be near any exhaust pipes or things that get hot in the engine that might make it melt. Tie wraps are good to use too, keeps it tidy and in place. Also that plastic shielding, forget what it's called, split loom or something. You put your new wire inside it and it is heat resistant.

    the old one is really long it goes in back of the motor then up to the alternator should i just run it the same and tie it with the old cable with cable ties

    If you can find a shorter way without it being close to the exhaust manifold it would be better, the longer the wire the more power you will lose along the way.
