T-shirt Hanging Over Sub...

    i have a lightweight T-shirt hanging over my sub, does anybody think this will this harm anything seeing as it touches it while playing ?

    It shouldn't harm the sub. It'll change the output tho. Dunno how much.

    Uhm... first question that begs to be asked would be "why?"

    And secondly... it really shouldn't hurt the sub or change it's output, unless you are already driving the sub to it's absolute limits, and you balled up the T-shirt and dropped it on the sub - while firing up...
    Probably something you aren't likely to do. :lol:

    easy, because i have a mammoth 18" sub sitting in my passenger window ;) . when i have the windows down, i really don't want it starring everyone in the face, so i tacked a T over it. i can afford to decrease the output by 50% and still have enough to make you go deaf :p

    Sorry Chris. :( I'll try to stop being such a whore. :bag:

    In all reality though I don't see how it would hurt anything. It's not heavy enough to hurt anything when the sub hits it, and it's probably not thick enough to hinder output.

    Ugh, if you paint a face on the t-shirt you may be able to use carpool lane... :rolleyes:
