i went outside and played with the stereo a lil bit and decided to see what it would sound like without the rear speakers hooked up, so i unhooked em and it sounded alot better. but, now i know that the sub is rattling EVERYTHING and it gets pretty annoying. i took some measurements for the new box too. i am hoping to start that when it warms up a bit. now my problem is that i need to decide whether to get new components for the rear or get some sound dampener. well, i suppose i can prolly get enough peel and seal for the doors and some of those zues components. but i also have another problem, i went to hook up my lil jensen and it went directly to protect. i made sure everything was hooked up right, and i looked inside but i didnt see anything very obvious. i took some pictures of it so u guys can possibly point some stuff out. Thanks guys! you're a bunch of help.
no you can't....I'm not really that good at fixing amps. I'd take it to a local electronics repair shop
i didnt really think so cause then i would lose all my fade and balance and ya. ite i may consifder that but its not really that special cause i only spent 15 bucks on it.
Get some caps from Parts Express - Amplifiers, Head Units, Speakers, Wiring Kits, Subwoofers, Dampening a lot cheaper than bass blockers
i havent tried that i hook everything up but i will try that maybe tomorrow cause i have a b ball game tonight.
i went out today to make a video wit the 2 ehqs's in the truck in the big 4 cube tuned to like 38hz. and when i hooked it up i bridged them at 4 ohms. i set the gain and it didnt push any air hardly at all through the ports! what am i doing wrong? it used to move air like crazy!
