Im not a Best Buy junkie but I have gotten some sweet deals lately with them. Not sure why but they keep clearancing out their car audio. Today I picked up a 10 in type R for $44 (now I have the pair and paid a total of $137 for both). The only thing it didnt have was the jumpers. I got plenty of wire for that. I also picked up a 400 watt 4 channel Fosgate Punch for $139. I have 5 Best Buys in a 20 mile radius. I go to each one to see what they have since each one doesnt clearance the same item ( i got my punch 6x9s on clearance from them too). Its a bit of work but worth it. I saw a 2.50 cu box for a pair of 12s (sealed) for $9.99. Seriously. I almost bought just because. U cant even buy a sheet of mdf for that. I did find out they wont price match another Best Buy. Since I m in no hurry its paying off. Guess I decided not to drop $3000 for the system I liked from Speaker Works. But I still want Erick to make my box.
I was in best buy at Springfield Mo last night....(had to hit bass pro, was the primary objective!) its about an hour and a half drive from my little homestead here. Went to look at some car audio gear. I didnt see any great buys at that place, other than some clearance BS that no one would ever want. Of course, aint much competition at that place that I am aware of...
they are going to stop selling alpine i think..i remember a rep mentioning it becuase they are going to start selling rocksford again
