I want to change my speaker system from passive to active crossover set up so I will need 8 channels instead of 4... Right now I have a JL 300/4 and want to replace it with A/D/S 860... I am trying to avoid adding another amp (another 300/4) so I do not have to deal with another set of wires... Any comments? The components are 2 sets of HEX600a...
just run 1 audiocontrol 4XS, and then use y splitters on the corresponding RCA's to run to the 2nd amp if that isnt what you are thinking, sorry, the question is kind of vauge
Sorry for not making myself clear... I am going to use Sony XEC-1000 3 way crossover (it has separate hi and lo for front and rear plus the sub output)... My question was actually about if there would be a problem with using a/d/s 860 8-channel amp to replace the current JL 300/4 (need another 4 amp channels to run 8 main channels) or should I get another 300/4? I was thinking about using this 300/4 in my other car where I am going to use 3 300/4 amps for the main channels...
