I was planning on gettin tha SA 12 for 250.. But I recently came upon a Kicker L7 10 for 200.. Now this is a 500 dollar sub... But, I wanted to get you guys opinion on this before I buy.. Sundown, or Kicker? THIS IS NOT WHICH SUB IS BETTER. Jus placed in this situation, which would you get. Both brand new, one 250, one 200 marked down from 500. I'll have 200 in my hand garanteed in a few weeks, but it'll be a few more before I can get the extra 50 for the Sundown.. But, if it's worth it to wait, I deff. will...

Not like sayin I don't think your opinions are valid, I jus wanna go a lil more in depth lol Like if it's jus because Kicker is jus over done or whatever that's a different story, but if it's because of beter performance.. That's wat I wanna hear... Cause for real before I even came to this forum I had never even heard of Sundown lol But that might be because like I've said before... that kicker is not a 500 dollar sub. both are great subs, and would do well in the proper enclosure. the sundown will take a hella beating for sure and have been proving that in the lanes. i havent been seeing too many kickers lately, but that doesnt mean its a bad sub. i used to have one and it was awesome.
I read the discription wrong.. It was marked down $449.. But it could jus be a marketing thing.. You know.. Great sub half off and all this ****... I really wish there was some way for me to hear em both... And Kicker is ALL I see around here.. There is an audio shop about 60 miles from here and all they sell are Rockfords, Kickers, and Memphis.. It was jus a stroke of luck I came upon these MTXs.. for a while, I thought those and the Wal-Mart brands were the only ones that even existed.. Lol So I think that's why I'm so hessitant to branch off...

Yes it will. It will get loud and sound good doing it. The box should be around 1.5 cubes after displacement tuned to around 34 hz.
If I make it jus a little bigger (around 2 or 2.5 cubes) will I get better lows? Mids and highs really aren't that big a deal.. I'll get some 8s or somethin for that...
