Can a dual coil sub burn out one coil and still play music. My dual 2 ohm coil kicker no longer pounds like it did, it still puts out bass but not like before, amp is fine. Thinking its only running on 1 coil, is that possible.
I think i've heard people frying just one coil before. why don't you test each coil to see if they are both working. just hook one up at a time.
i think it is possible. didnt electro do that to his 18? also i think one of the coils in my L5 was going bad. it too didnt sound the same after a few accidental bottoming out's.
