I have been looking at the MA Audio MA1200XL 12" sub along with the Kicker CompVR. Anyone with experience with these subs or anything to help me out(looking for both SQ and SPL)
What is your price range?? I wouldn't look too far into MA Audio...overrated stuff. Kicker is pretty good...but I don't like the new CVR's...I'd rather get the older model

Only thing is that for the EHQS 12 sub (25 bucks at ED's site) to sound good is in a large box...2.5-3 cu ft for vented. I'm order a few of the EHQS 12s in a couple days... Azn put a good suggestion out there with the Elemental Designs. I would like to recommend the Ascendant Audio - Arsenal sub as an option you wont be disappointed with. I was considering buy a couple Assassin 10's when they were 40 bucks a piece...then I checked them out again and they raised the price. I really wanna hear some opinions on how they sound so I vote for them too
Assassins are supposedly the best for SQ for that price range. I am seriously considering dropping 2 of them in my trunk.

I'm not sure if those stats are realistic though...a 12 inch sub with 95db sensitivity?? Normally only subs I see with a rating that high are pro sound drivers. Someone here should enter the parameters into WinISD...it calculates a more realistic sensitivity rating
